motto >ONE-4-ALL<, drilling, gluing, doweling as well as the
KV dovetail connectors can be processed in one operation. With the
index amongst e.g. capacity bottlenecks at existing CNC and nesting
machines can be avoided and the number of parts per shift increased.

| The KV dovetail connector is
a furniture fitting system based on the dovetail principle. The
dovetail connection is made with a screwed-on dovetail sleeve or
long dovetail sleeve and a grooved keyway rail (KVS-System) or routed
keyway profile (KVD-System) and is an invisible wood connection
that can be dismantled again. |
| The optional routing unit of
the GANNOMAT Index can be equipped for example with a routing bit.
With this, for example, the groove for the aluminum dovetail rail
(KVS-System) for the dovetail connector system can be easily routed.
The unit can also be equipped with a profiled KV keyway milling
cutter so that the pockets can be routed (KVD-System) directly into
the workpiece. The profiled router bit enables the precise production
of the profiled routing for the dovetail connector connection pockets
or the dovetail connector routings. The profiled dovetail routings
can be used for the dovetail connector sleeve as well as for the
KV long sleeves. |
| Holes for the KV dovetail connector
plug-in system can also be precisely drilled with the GANNOMAT Index
at the edge and at the surface. Single-spindle or multi-spindle
drilling units enable the necessary pre-drilling of the dovetail
sleeve (with/without expansion dowels) as well as the long dovetail
sleeves. |
| The Index machine concept enables
up to 4 workpieces to be positioned at 4 stops. Programming is carried
out using the Index machine's simple and tried-and-tested programming
interface. The program is called up via the machine software itself
or optionally via a barcode. |
